How can I create welcome series with EmailWish?

What is a welcome series?

A welcome series of emails is a type of email automation that helps in greeting your customer and welcome them into the brand new community that they just became a part of. This helps an individual feel like they made the right choice picking up your products.

How do you create a welcome series email automation on Emailwish?

STEP 1

Login to your homepage and go to your email tab.

STEP 2

To the extreme left you will see the automations tab. Click on it.

STEP 3

You should be able to see the add new button on the top right-hand corner of the page.  Click on it.

 

STEP 4

Once you clicked on it you will be shown a screen where you can add your desired name and select the customers you want to send it to.

STEP 5

Once you’ve customized it to your liking you can click on save. Once saved it will be added to your list of automations created.

STEP 6

When you click on the tab of the automation you will be taken to the page where you can customize it further and add any other details required.

STEP 7

After you’ve been taken to the new page, you will be able to set the trigger for emails. The automation will take place only when the trigger conditions are met. you can add an action by clicking the plus sign in the middle of the page.

STEP 8

To very specifically create a welcome series you can click on the tab that says ‘wait’. This helps you create an automated series. As well as design the template of your email. You can choose when you want to send the email series here.

STEP 9

Following the choosing of your preferred time frame, you will be able to see a button indicating that the email set up hasn’t been completed. If you click the plus sign it should take you to the next step in the process.

STEP 10

When you click the plus sign you will be asked to take an action, you can pick the option of ‘send an email’

STEP 11

You will be taken to the tab where you can set up your automation. You can click the save and next button which will take you to the email content page.

STEP 12

When you reach the email content tab you will be able to curate and add the content you want to by choosing from a template, theme or by uploading your own content. Don’t forget to click the Save and next button here as well.

STEP 13

Once you’ve completed your content creation and are ready to set the trigger. you can click the plus sign right below the button that says trigger not set yet. It will take you to the various triggers you can set. Once done, you can then sit back and relax and wait for your email series to be sent out.
