How can I improve my open rates?

What are open rates?

Open rates are the number of emails that are opened by the people you’ve sent emails to. So if you send out 100 emails and only one email was opened, then the open rate of that campaign is 1%.

Why is important to keep track of open rates?

Keeping track of your open rates helps you not just know how your emails are being received, but additionally gives you information on what is working for your email marketing strategy and what isn’t.

Therefore a constant check-in will help you build your client base and revenue as well. The following tips can help you improve your current open rates.

  1. Use a personal name in your email. Using personal names is said to have a higher open rate. This makes the reader feel like the email has been curated and sent to them very specifically. It is important to remember that your subjects should not be misleading or projecting one thing but delivering another in the email. This affects your email marketing strategy tremendously.
  2. Keep updating your email list. Frequently updating your lists helps you avoid sending your emails to people who might not want to receive any emails from you any longer.   4. Keep your subject eye snatching. Keeping your subject lines short and interesting and capturing the attention of your reader will help increase your open rates as well.
