One aspect to keep in mind while using html is to remember that if you use a lot of images in your email, it will end up in the Promotions or into the spam folder of your viewer’s account. This becomes problematic as most people do not check their spam. This in turn reduces the number of times your email is opened and checked.

What happens when you use plain text?
There are greater chances that your email will be viewed by your audience. A slight disadvantage could be that you will not be providing any visual stimulation for your audience. It would be directly addressed to them which makes it all the more likely that your audience will open your email and click on any of the links provided by you. While crafting your email, you must remember that the focus is entirely on your text. and therefore it has to be as interesting and simple as possible to make your audience take the action you want them to.
