Understanding Scheduling and Timing

What is scheduling and timing in your emails?

In other words, what is email automation? This is when you send a preset email to your clients as and when a certain action is triggered by them. For example, when your customer leaves the website before purchasing a product after adding it to the cart. You can send them email automation that reminds them of their abandoned cart.

The main benefit of email automation is that you don’t have to constantly type and retype your emails, as your preset and scheduled emails already exist.

Scheduling and timing your emails is also a great strategy to improve the scope of your email marketing. It also simplifies any holiday and anniversary discounts you want to provide your customer.

What is the best time to schedule your emails?

Research indicates that the ideal time to send the emails would be during the week, in the time slots of 9 to 10 am and 5 to 6 pm. It is to ensure that your emails get maximum exposure and will be read more often than not especially with good subject lines.

How does Emailwish help?

When you reach your homepage and you go to the email tab and click automations under it, you will be able to see all your series and campaigns.

CLicking on the add new button you will be able to create a new series. Once you’ve saved the necessary details you can then click on the new series and choose to take an action, to create automations, you can click on wait.

You will receive options of one minute, hours, day, weeks, and months. Which helps you decide when you want the mail to be triggered and activated. Once confirmed it is subject to change until you manually change the timings according to your convenience. To do so, you will see the option of this on the right side of your work-flow of that particular campaign.
